Transparent picks up 7 Emmy nominations

The critically acclaimed series Transparent keeps excelling during awards season. The show, featuring Jeffrey Tambor (who has already won an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor), just picked up 7 Emmy nominations for 2017. The nominations are as follows:

Transparent is a comedy-drama television series that follows a Los Angeles family and their journey, which starts when they discover that their father is transgender. It became the first show produced by a streaming media service (Amazon) to win a Golden Globe for Best Series.

The show has already accumulated 8 Emmy wins and 28 nominations over its three seasons, which is impressive to say the least. Its high production value paired with an outstanding cast keep propelling it to the top of mind when it comes to award season. We’re looking forward to some new awards for the cast and crew!
